THE ULTIMATE SUPER SATELLITE POKER TOURNAMENT
DECEMBER 2006 The first qualifying event for the $1,100 buy-in Ultimate Super Satellite Tournament was held on Friday, December 1st at 12 Noon ($110 + $20). Six-hundred thirty players entered the first Ultimate Super Satellite Qualifier event, advancing 63 players (one out of every ten entrants) into Sunday’s $1,000 + $100 Ultimate Super Satellite Tournament.
The second qualifying event for the $1,100 buy-in Ultimate Super Satellite Tournament was held on Saturday, December 2nd at 11AM ($220 + $30). Three-hundred fifty players entered the second Ultimate Super Satellite Qualifier event, advancing 70 players (one out of every five entrants) into Sunday’s $1,000 + $100 Ultimate Super Satellite Tournament.
Sunday’s Ultimate Super Satellite attracted Three-hundred Thirty-One players for the 11AM event. Five winners each won the coveted $60,000 prize package:

- Jinhing Chin (New York, NY)
- John Hennigan (Brigantine, NJ)
- Stephen Hooper (Fairfax, VA)
- Lawrence Paden (Chester Springs, PA)
In addition, Michael Mulcare (Baltimore, MD), Casey Peters (Brick, NJ), Joseph Simmons (Philadelphia, PA) each took home a $10,000 entry into the Borgata Winter Poker Open / WPT event in January 2007. Michael Makowensky (New Hyde Park, NY) took home $1,000 cash.
