BORGATA ANNOUNCES 2012 SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP

Headline Impressive List of New and Returning Stars
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (April 5, 2012) – Atlantic City’s premiere entertainment destination, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced today a comprehensive lineup of world-class artists scheduled to perform this summer at The Borgata Event Center and The Music Box theater.
On May 12th, indie rock superstars Florence and the Machine make their Atlantic City debut as they perform to a sold-out Event Center crowd. The intimate show will kick-off a sizzling concert season at Borgata which includes country music star Keith Urban and Motown idols The Jacksons, who will be embarking on their first major tour in over 25 years. Immortal Rock n’ Roll legends James Taylor, Sting and The Beach Boys (reuniting with Brian Wilson), along with multi-platinum rapper, Pitbull, and multinational operatic pop vocal group, Il Divo, comprise a star-studded array of talent, proving that Borgata offers something to fit everyone’s musical taste. While not relegated to strictly melodic concerts, Borgata is also home to some of the funniest comedians working today, with entertainers like Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin James, George Lopez, Kathy Griffin and Russell Brand, all returning to deliver first-class hilarity.

As the only property in the market boasting two venues (Event Center and The Music Box) on Pollstar’s prestigious “Top 100 Worldwide Venues” list, Borgata has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment history including The Who, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Pearl Jam, Mariah Carey, Kings Of Leon, JAY Z, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Chris Rock, and others in one of the more unique and intimate settings in the country.
