BORGATA ANNOUNCES FALL POKER OPEN
Championship Event to Feature $1 Million Guaranteed Prize Pool
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (October 24, 2012) – Fresh off the heels of its record-breaking Borgata Poker Open, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced details of its second annual Borgata Fall Poker Open tournament series, beginning on Wednesday, November 7th and concluding with the Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship event (November 18th–21st), featuring a $2,700 buy-in, two starting dates and a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
“Borgata never ceases to impress with their turnouts, structures and interesting tournament formats,” stated poker pro Amanda Musumeci, who won a Main Event in the inaugural Borgata Fall Poker Open last November. “They consistently keep the game fresh and fun, not to mention their juicy guarantees. In addition to the Championship, the 45-event tournament series, held in the Poker Room and The Signature Room, opens with the widely popular and extremely accessible $500,000 Guaranteed Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em event and includes mixed, Omaha, and a wide range of No Limit Hold’em tournaments, including Deep Stack, Bounty, Six-Max, Ladies, Ante Only and Seniors (50+) events.
Building on the success of its inaugural event in November 2011, the Borgata Fall Poker Open joins the Borgata Winter Poker Open (January), Borgata Spring Poker Open (April), Borgata Summer Poker Open (June) and Borgata Poker Open (September) as the fifth major tournament series offered annually and effectively rounds-out one of the most innovative and player-friendly poker programs in the country.
