Michael Symon joins Borgata’s unprecedented culinary lineup with debut of his first Atlantic City restaurant



 ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (November 4, 2016)  –Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa today announced the spring 2017 debut of Angeline by Michael Symon. Designed by New York’s Parts and Labor Design, the 8,200-square-foot Italian restaurant (named after his mother) will introduce Iron Chef and The Chew co-host Michael Symon to Atlantic City as he joins fellow Iron Chefs Bobby Flay and Geoffrey Zakarian, as well as legendary chef Wolfgang Puck in a star-studded culinary lineup unique to the East Coast.

New York-based interior design firm, Parts and Labor, whose breadth of work reaches from New York to Dubai, and includes restaurants, bars, hotels and retail projects at every scale, has collaborated with Philadelphia’s famed Cope-Linder Architects to present Angeline by Michael Symon. The 223-seat fine dining experience will feature a bar area, main dining room and private dining space, showcasing the soulful cooking and joyful personality synonymous with the award-winning chef.


Growing up with Greek and Sicilian influences, Chef Michael Symon creates boldly flavored, deeply satisfying dishes at his restaurants, while also sharing his exuberant, approachable cooking style and infectious laugh with viewers as an Iron Chef on Food Network and a co-host on ABC’s “The Chew.” Since being named a Best New Chef by Food & Wine magazine in 1998, the Cleveland native has been awarded numerous honors: in 2000, Gourmet magazine chose Lola as one of “America’s Best Restaurants;” in 2009, The James Beard Foundation awarded Symon with Best Chef: Great Lakes; and in 2010, Bon Appetit magazine included B Spot on their list of “Top 10 Best New Burger Joints.”
