Travel Advisory - 9/29/20: Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut in June 2020, individuals traveling to New Jersey from states with increasing rates of COVID-19 are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.  As of September 29, 2020, the advisory applied to residents of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Borgata Mask Policies
  • Property-wide: Customers must wear face coverings at all times, except where doing so would inhibit the individual’s health, or where the individual is under two years of age. Food and beverage consumption is prohibited in all public areas of the building unless seated in an individual seat or table and served by a Borgata employee.
  • Outdoor Dining: Masks must be worn at all times by outdoor dining patrons except while seated at your table or individual seat.
  • Indoor Dining: When seated at your table or individual seat, indoor dining patrons must wear masks until your food or drinks arrive. After you have finished consuming your food or drinks, you must put your mask back on.
  • Casino Floor: Customers must wear face coverings at all times, except when doing so would inhibit your health. When seated in your individual seat, gaming patrons must wear a mask except when actively drinking a drink served to you by a Borgata cocktail server. Your mask must be worn in between sips. Drinks may not be consumed when you are in transit or when you are standing. Food and outside beverage are prohibited on the casino floor.
 
Arrival

A little different than before, but still your happy place.

  • Parking: We will welcome NOIR guests to Valet. All other guests should park in the self park garage. The Water Club Valet & surface parking lot will be closed.
  • Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Please use the Porte Cochere for all pick-up and drop-off, including rideshare and taxi. AC Jitney drop-off and pick-up will be at the North Entrance located by Bobby Flay Steak and Race & Sports Book.
  • Hotel Lobby: The Hotel Lobby will be retrofitted to allow for spacious queuing and physical barriers to protect interactions with our Front Desk Representatives.
  • Pre-Registration: Guests can pre-register their hotel room shortly before arrival by calling: 609.317.7272. You will receive a text once your room is ready.
  • Lobby Hosts: Team members with mobile devices will be stationed in the lobby to assist guests that would rather not wait in the line at the Front Desk. They will receive a text once their room is ready.
  • Standard Check-In: Only the main guest of the reservation should be waiting in the line to help with social distancing.
 
Gaming

Gaming with us has changed. Here’s how:

  • In compliance with Governor Murphy's Executive Order 183, smoking on the casino floor is prohibited.
  • Hand washing stations and hand sanitizers available for use by players and dealers.
  • Increased frequency in sanitation of all tables actively being used.
  • The number of customers will be limited in accordance with local gaming regulations.
  • Guests will be asked to refrain from standing beside or behind customers playing.
  • Where applicable, polycarbonate barriers or similar alternatives may be installed
  • Increased frequency in sanitation of all machines, kiosks and ATMs.
  • Alternating slot machines will be disabled.

Welcome back to "Wow, that's good."

  • Outdoor Dining: Find craft beers along with mouth-watering bar snacks and bites at Borgata Beer Garden. Guests will utilize digital innovations such as QR codes for menus and text messaging for seating availability. Borgata Tailgate, located on Level 1 of the Self-Park Garage, and Borgata Street Eats are available for covered outdoor seating.
  • BorgataEATS: Allows guests to order meals from Borgata eateries like Old Homestead Steak House, Angeline by Michael Symon, BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar and more to pick up at the restaurant and enjoy in the comfort of their guest room or home.   • Grab & Go: The Marketplace Eatery, Bread + Butter, Borgata Baking Company, and Starbucks will also be available for walk-up service.
  • In-room Dining: available for Borgata hotel guests.
  • Indoor Dining: Per NJ Governor Phil Murphy's Executive Order, indoor dining operations are permitted at 25% capacity and with social distance between tables. Masks must be worn at all times until your food or drinks arrive and must be put back on your face after you have finished consuming your food or drink. Digital menus will be available for guests to view on mobile devices via QR code. Reservations for fine dining outlets are required, guests may call 609.317.1000 to book.   • Pump Room: Guests are required to wear masks at all times and must sign-in upon entering. Equipment will be socially distanced.
  • Spa Toccare, The Barbershop and The Salon: Reservations are required. Masks must be worn at all times except while receiving a service that requires the mask to be removed. Guests will be asked pre-screening questions prior to receiving services.
  • Borgata Outdoor Pool: Closed for the season.
  • Borgata Indoor Pool: Reservations required on Saturdays and Sundays. Pool chairs will be socially distanced by groups of 2 and 4 and are on a first come, first served basis. Guests are required to wear masks at all times except when seated in a lounge chair, eating or drinking, or while in the pool or whirlpool. Exclusively for Borgata hotel guests 18 years of age and older.
    All indoor pools at The Water Club are closed.

The MGM Resorts team has been working with medical experts to develop a plan that has allowed us to welcome you back. Our “Seven-Point Safety Plan,” puts your health and safety at the center of all we do. It is a comprehensive, multi-layered approach with guidance from public health experts.

Screening, Temperature Checks & Employee Training

Extensive employee protocols are put in place including screening questions, employee temperature checks and training programs on health and safety protocols. We ask guests to stay at home if they have COVID-19 related symptoms or live with someone who has recently tested positive. Medical and security personnel on staff will be able to assist should a guest develop symptoms while staying at one of our resorts.

Mandatory Masks & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Employees and guests will be required to wear masks in public areas. Masks will be provided free of charge. Gloves will continue to be worn by employees who require them to do their jobs. Guestroom Attendants will wear masks and gloves while cleaning each room and will change gloves between guestrooms.

Physical Distancing

We will implement 6-foot physical distancing policies throughout the resort with floor guides to assist and remind our guests. Where this isn’t feasible, we will mitigate as best as possible with polycarbonate barriers, face shields or clear signage.

Handwashing & Enhanced Sanitation

Guests to our resorts will find easy access to custom-built handwashing stations and hand sanitizer throughout the property. Although our cleaning protocols have always been important, we have increased the amount of routine cleaning, with a focus on high-touch surfaces and common areas using cleaning products that meet EPA guidelines. In addition to increased and enhanced routine cleaning of guestrooms and public spaces based on CDC guidance, electrostatic sprayers will be utilized in many large public spaces so that disinfectant is applied efficiently.

HVAC Controls and Air Quality

Rigorous measures have been taken to provide as much outside air circulation as we can throughout our buildings and guest rooms with air filters that meet or exceed published standards.

Incident Response Protocols

MGM has compiled its own internal team and processes to respond if a guest or employee tests positive for COVID-19. We ask that if a guest tests positive after visiting one of our properties, they alert us through a special email address (covid19@mgmresorts.com). We will immediately report any positive test results to the local health department and assist with contact tracing to support the health department investigators.

Digital Innovations

Digital menus will be available to view on personal mobile devices via QR codes. To minimize groups congregating while they wait, outdoor restaurant guests will receive text message notification when their tables are ready.

EARNING YEAR CHANGES

With this extension, we are also changing our earning year to January 1 – December 31 from what’s historically been October 1 – September 30, extending your benefits an additional three months and moving to a calendar year that’s easier to understand and track.

Casino

Winners of Bonus SLOT DOLLARS® Rewards awarded as part of a sweepstakes at Borgata may claim any unused and expired portion of the prize for up to 180 days at the M life desk upon reopening.

Customers will have 30 days after reopening to redeem expired vouchers at the Casino Cashier.
